I moved this so that I could update and add in some samples:Ĭhrono Trigger+ Chrono Cross (Yasunori Mitsuda was always overshadowed by Uematsu. It took me 1 hour to collect the songs, damn, time flies. Music is an art, videogames is too and when you roll those two into one, it can give something that fabulous. So, the people could listen to it and for some, discover some marvelous songs. I picked up one song I love from each ost (but i love nearly all the songs for those osts). Those are among the best videogames OSTs ever IMHO. Well well, rather than talking, here a small list of games with great OSTs. I also like the songs that carry emotions. My type of videogames musics? Mmmmmh, I think I love the songs which have good melodies that I can memorize easily.
TBH, I don't think those videogames would be the same if they didn't have those outstanding OSTs. Many, many videogames have amazing soundtracks. Music ranging from action to epic appear on all sorts of video games but which type of music attracts you? My best candidate for great music is Chaos Legion, especially the the music during the Prologue stage. Admit it, some of us love to listen to gaming soundtracks that really give us the hype.
